Academic Admissions Policy – British International Academy Marrakech (BIAM)

At BIAM, we are dedicated to fostering both academic excellence and personal growth. We welcome students who are eager to succeed in a dynamic, engaging, and internationally minded learning environment. Our ideal students are well-rounded individuals with strong academic potential, a proactive attitude, and a curiosity that extends beyond the classroom.

Our mission is to equip students with the skills and knowledge to gain entry into top universities in the UK, Morocco, and across the globe, or to confidently continue their education in competitive academic settings. We welcome families to visit BIAM year-round for individual tours and participate in scheduled Open Days to discover more about our approach and curriculum.

Entry Requirements

BIAM follows the English National Curriculum. Students transferring from schools that use the same curriculum will generally be placed into the corresponding year group without formal testing.

However, students coming from different educational backgrounds may be required to sit assessments in English, mathematics, and science. These help us determine the most appropriate year group and learning support needed to ensure the best educational outcomes for each child.

How to Apply

Families can begin the admissions process by requesting our application form via email or by completing our Online Application Form directly on our website.

We encourage prospective families to schedule a visit to the school and meet with our admissions team by filling in our Appointment Form (below). After the application is received and reviewed, a meeting will be arranged between the school, the parents, and the student.

Admission decisions are typically communicated within a few days following the interview.
